TIFTON, GA – News release from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College
New students who wish to receive financial aid at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College during the 2012 fall semester should complete a financial aid application by July 15.
ABAC Director of Student Financial Services Shawn Thomas said that students who turn in financial aid applications after that time may not have their financial aid processed in time for the start of the fall term on Aug. 13.
Transfer students are also eligible for financial aid from ABAC.
“Students who are transferring from another institution must have all transcripts into ABAC before they can be awarded any type of financial aid,” Thomas said.
Students who send in their financial aid applications after July 15 should be prepared to pay their tuition fees themselves.
They will be reimbursed for the financial aid package they qualify for once the processing is complete.
For more information regarding financial aid, students can call (229) 391-4870, e-mail the Office of Financial Aid at sfs@abac.edu, or visit the J. Lamar Branch Student Center on the campus.
