Summer hours of operation begin July 1 at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture and Historic Village at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.
The new hours are 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Tuesday - Saturday for the Museum, Gallery and Historic Village through July 28. The highlight of the July activities will be on July 3 with free watermelon during the day, and a concert and fireworks display that evening.
In August, the Museum, Gallery, and Tift House will be open every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., and the Historic Village will be closed for the entire month. Conference facilities will remain available throughout the summer.
The Country Store will continue to operate on its normal schedule of Monday – Saturday from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Admission for the Museum Tuesday – Friday, July 1-28, is $7 for adults, $6 for senior adults (age 55 and up), $4 for children (5-16 years old), and free to children four years of age and under.
Saturday admission is $10 for adults, $8 for senior adults, $5 for children and free for children four years of age and under. During the month of August admission to the Gallery, Museum, and Tift House will be $4 for adults and seniors. Admission is free for children 4 and under.
