Fall carnival at ABAC

TIFTON, GA – Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College will have their family-friendly fall carnival Tuesday, October 30 at 6 p.m.

The carnival is for small children from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. and from 8 p.m. -10 p.m. the museum will become “haunted” for older students. Entry to the carnival is free.

Trick or Treat at ABAC fall frolics

Trick or Treat at ABAC fall frolics

TIFTON, GA – On Saturday, October 27 Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College’s Fall Frolics will feature trick-or-treating, zombie run and a one-mile family fun run.

Registration for the race will begin at 8:30 a.m. and the fee for this race is $5 per person to participate.

Trick or Treat in the Village will feature a variety of events for young and old. The Cloggers Jamboree will provide entertainment from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m.

Visitors can take part in the costume contests at 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m.

2012 Etiquette & Eloquence Expo at Monitor Center

FITZGERALD, GA – Bethel A.M.E. Church will have their 2012 Christian Southern Etiquette & Eloquence Expo will be Sunday, October 28 at 4 p.m. at the Monitor Center located at 502 South Monitor Drive.

The theme expo is "Big Hats and Fine China". Free food will be served, and gospel choirs will sing.

All women in attendance are expected to wear their finest dress and biggest most elaborate hats. All men in attendance are expected to wear their finest suit. If you have neither, come as you are.

Chamber of Commerce membership meeting

TIFTON, GA – The monthly Chamber of Commerce membership meeting will be on Thursday, Octoberr 18, from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m., at that Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College Agrirama.

Lunch will be served, and member will have a chance to network with others and gain a lot of important information.

TIFTON, GA – The Georgia Museum of Agriculture and Historic Village at Abraham Baldwin Agriculture College will take,” A Walk Through History” with cowboys and Indians starting Saturday, October 20.

“A Walk Through History” is a part of ABAC’s Fall Frolics event that are held each Saturday.

Stepping Out for your Heart

TIFTON, GA – The Stepping Out for your Heart 5K road race and 1 mile fun run and walk will be Saturday, October 13 at Tift County High School’s Northeast Campus.

The registration fee is $20 if received before Friday, October 5. Late registration and day of the event registration will be $25.
